Environmental Charter School compensation redesign
At the Environmental Charter School Deliberative Community Forum, faculty and staff worked together to set strategic direction for the redesign of ECS’s retention, tenure and promotion system.
A robust research process structured the agenda by engaging groups of employees across the organization. At the event faculty and staff worked together to collaboratively examine several model approaches in light of of the organizational values. They had the opportunity to ask questions of a resource panel with diverse expertise related to compensation strategies in general and in the education field specifically, social justice and equity, and Human Resources management.
At the end of the forum, faculty and staff completed a survey to ensure that their opinions and insights become a part of the conversation about compensation at ECS.
