Dead Tech Resurrection – New Directions in Digital Art
Posted on May 10, 2007 in student work
For this project at CU Boulder, students created artwork or toys using scrap electronics from multiple sources. Sources included dead CD players, disk drives, printers, scanners, telephones, and much miscellany. The source electronics were disassembled, and parts, including LEDs, chips, motors, belts and gears were repurposed into new works.
